Our precision oncology activities are focused on the development and implementation of methods and tools to identify actionable genomic alterations in cancer. Particular emphasis is on using an integrated approach in the evaluation\n of somatic (tumor) and the background germline (constitutional) genomic data to inform the role of germline alterations in cancer and their effect on the clinical management and therapeutic decisions. To date, we have demonstrated\n the utility of tumor-derived somatic data in the assessment of pathogenicity of germline variants in several cancer syndromes.  <\/p>\n

Building on these precision oncology activities, INT\u00b2GRATE<\/strong> (INTegrated INTerpretation of GeRmline And Tumor gEnomes) refers to cancer-specific programs we developed to identify tumor-informed germline alterations\n with clinical utility. The INT\u00b2GRATE Oncology Consortium<\/strong> is a multi-institution, international collaboration that utilizes INT\u00b2GRATE to comprehensively assess the actionability of germline variants for\n cancer care. The INT\u00b2GRATE Variant Data Portal<\/strong> is a public-facing interface designed to make integrated variant data and comprehensive clinical evidence accessible, facilitating data sharing and cross-institutional\n collaboration.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
