INT²GRATE OncologyTherapy

We advance precision oncology through the development and implementation of methods and tools to identify actionable genomic alterations in cancer. Particular emphasis is placed on using a novel integrated approach in the evaluation of somatic (tumor) and background germline (constitutional) genomic data to inform the role of germline alterations in cancer and their relevance to clinical management and therapeutic decisions. To date, we have demonstrated the utility of tumor-derived somatic data in the assessment of pathogenicity of germline variants in several cancer syndromes.

Building on these advancements, we developed INT²GRATE (INTegrated INTerpretation of GeRmline And Tumor gEnomes) programs that use this novel approach to identify tumor-informed germline alterations with clinical utility. The INT²GRATE Oncology Consortium is a multi-institution, international collaboration that utilizes INT²GRATE to comprehensively assess the actionability of germline variants for cancer care. The INT²GRATE Variant Data Portal is a public-facing interface designed to make integrated variant data and comprehensive clinical evidence accessible, facilitating data sharing and cross-institutional collaboration.
